History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Thervan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Thervan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Surina's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She tends to her Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cook born in the past three hundred years. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a Cook soon after.
