When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Theren was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Theren's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Callie has worked very hard to control her curse. After a long history of fighting, Callie and her spouse have recently divorced.
