Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Thorpe alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with pastel colored cloaks and clothing. Her red fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Great was born the youngest of three triplets. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered dancing. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to reunite with her absent father

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He is portly but not overly obese. His white hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mayor. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: He is a mite stocky and usually wears his violet robe and has his pickaxe always slung over his shoulder. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Tim wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
