Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears an entirely grey suit with pastel socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His hair is blonde and very short. His ears are large.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Description: This tall, slender woman wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. Her hair is black and curly. She wears a mask on her face.
Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She found a children's book about a Halfling Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: She's looking for her big break.

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. She has styled her brown hair well, parting it to the left. Her gold eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: Mastema hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she wants revenge against dire rats

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
