Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Jarsali's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jarsali grew up listening to her mother's many stories. When Jarsali reached her early adolescence her Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Bookbinder born in the past three hundred years. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Ovina and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Description: With blue face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he prefers to wear flannel. His hair is long and black with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small violet clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are brown and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Laucian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: 6'5" and muscular, this eastern woman wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She struck the Layabout job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and balancing her hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult
