History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ekk was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gifted from a young age, Modean studied abroad. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor
