He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Cressel wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Bellfounder father left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
