Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Direcris was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Direcris was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ruler. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Born in the east to a Apothecary, Bune learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She struck the Apothecary job and began her own company from there.
