History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Verna alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and revenge

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
