History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Vassago hails from a village terrorized by giants. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His first spouse was a Banker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
