History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and balancing his hectic life and new cook responsibilities is difficult

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Murgen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Blacksmith for the past few years.

History: She was born in a small island village. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
