History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fisher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Gilthur was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilthur was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he has money and likes to spend it
