History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Elaim was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand his business; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: 3'11" and muscular, this southern woman wears a fancy grey dress. Her red hair is thinning but still full. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Crown-heir but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and revenge
