History: He was born in a small island village. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Nirgel was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Shamil was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.
