Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shadow was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
