History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Ernest is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: This northern woman is abnormally tall. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized green coat. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her black crest is still thick. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Gifted from a young age, Daar studied abroad. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sailor work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has achieved small success as a Sailor.

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nalaed studied abroad. A gifted student she started as a Doctor, but she got bored and became a Soapmaker. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To be a Doctor again; and balancing her hectic life and new soapmaker responsibilities is difficult
