Personality: Alain hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Alain hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Chad is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Chad was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ploughman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to raise his children well
