Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by goblins. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is dressed in earthy colors with a grey and black handkerchief worn on his right side. His silver hair is still thick. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Glassblower. He tends to his Glassblower job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and balancing his hectic life and new glassblower responsibilities is difficult

Description: This malnourished woman wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her blue eyes.

Personality: This woman loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the west. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
