History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her divine abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Hlin and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.
