Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She tends to her Bricklayer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: To be a Ploughman again.

History: Balam hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Erky does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
