History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and she wants revenge against dire rats

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Kite will drive conversation. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion
