Description: She wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. She carries with her a set of sais, each one with a opal on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her silver hair is singed and shortened. She has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Semyaza lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: A 5'3" northern woman, she wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. She has done her best to style her brown hair to look like a famous performer. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Gorga took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Description: This late middle aged man wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society and is in decent physical shape. His crest is rusty, silky, and of moderate length. His red eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Nykkan was born with his mother's beautiful face. He worked as a nervous Adventurer and found it very stressful. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barrister. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to be a bookbinder again
