History: Tawna was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tawna grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tawna. After a long history of fighting, Tawna and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: Barbena hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and many orcs want him driven away

History: Gifted from a young age, Anne studied abroad. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush; and she would like to get married and retire
