Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Anakis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Cook arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Faran was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Knight. He's also a talented Mayor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and expand his business
