Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Butcher, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: Hadarai is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hadarai does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. A true patriot, Ubada would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has taken up work as a Layabout and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
