History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Spear grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Her childhood dream was to be a Healer, but she was a colossal failure. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult; and she is unsatisfied with her job
