Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
