History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Smoking took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bricklayer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: The child of a Farmer, who enjoyed hunting, Justin was taken on many hunting expeditions. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Bricklayer.

History: Jezean was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
