History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Tomi's homeland. Tomi decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears suspenders and grey workpants. Her shirt is blue, and she wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time. Her long auburn hair reaches down to her waist. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Avelina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his father struggled to pay the bills. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.
