Ovina Torunn, Female Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. She carries with her a set of pickaxes on her belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ovina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Ovina was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ovina decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ovina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personal [hide]

Salasar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Salasar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story.
