Description: This tall, slender man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His white eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He feeds upon the attention of others.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He uses divination through singing.
History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Bhevek was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bhevek decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing tan cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. This hazel eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is happy with his job as a Navigator. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: Anverth was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and to unite with his brother

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. Her head has been shaved. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Urshar was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by her family; and an old rival family wants her found
