Personality: Jelenneth speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He dresses well, wearing blue shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Knight, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to raise his children well

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. She has done her best to style her auburn hair to look like a famous performer. Her gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Portia lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
