Personality: Matilda is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Beggar for the past few years.
