Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a Priest, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Laborer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. The war was a terrible time for her, and Burana does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Burana fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
