History: Zagga hails from a village terrorized by drow. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Zagga never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears baggy white pantaloons and a black scarf. He has wavy auburn hair. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Pikar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Pikar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
