Description: He dresses in green turtlenecks beneath a black coat with green slacks, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'4" when asserting himself. His scarlet crest is lengthy. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: With grey face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she very much looks the part of a Knight. Her hair is auburn and curly. Her brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ulla embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He tends to wear a grey poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a Farmer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He got into the Farmer business at a young age. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and to be a bricklayer again

Voice: High pitched and raspy

Description: This tall, slender man wears green painted combat armor at almost all times. His silver crest is knotted and matted. His eyes are gold and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born in the south. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the south
