History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sage arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Emmeline enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: Tomph hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born in the north. Through the years after Tomph was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Tomph's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Tomph and her spouse have recently divorced.
