History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

History: Gifted from a young age, Kerkad studied abroad. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.
