History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Astaro was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Pikar was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
