Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. The war was a terrible time for her, and Cumpen does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Cumpen lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cumpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He found a children's book about a Gnome Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to reunite with his old friends

To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born in the west. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and many brigands want her driven away

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She wears a Stetson hat to hide her balding. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a great chef.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
