History: Kerkad hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
