Personality: Umpen is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He got into the Server business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Server work with an outfit from a few towns over. Server work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears a robe, a symbol of luck around her neck, and a hammer on her belt. Her black hair is wavy and long. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are amber.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Dee was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dee grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dee. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gilbert's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Gilbert was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bookbinder. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: This light-skinned male wears bulky black painted plate armor. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
