Description: A middle-aged woman, she is wearing a long, green, dusty cloak, and is pretty ugly. She has wavy red crest. Her red eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She became a Carter soon after.

Description: This western woman wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her sword with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her clothes are grease stained in places. She wears her yellow fur down. Her eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Smoking enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His red hair is heavily combed to the left. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
