History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Beast is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ermina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ermina. She struck the Tailor job and began her own company from there.
