Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lucan embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Lucan was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 49. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ulfgar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Kali was born on a far northern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Sage. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Ishmoz lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and regain custody of his son
