History: The child of a Bowyer, who enjoyed hunting, Joan was taken on many hunting expeditions. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Scribe work with an outfit from a few towns over. Scribe work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has worked as a Scribe like her mother before her.

Description: She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'2" when asserting herself. Her moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Mumpena is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.
