Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. A true patriot, Beloril would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Beloril was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Adelaide lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Adelaide alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
