Through the years after Andraste was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Andraste's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She struck the Mercenary job and began her own company from there.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for her, and Carlin does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Carlin was born with her mother's beautiful face. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
