History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Surina was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Surina's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
