History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Trail took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This malnourished man is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Baz is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Jarana enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and money/treasure
